Well, hello to the blogging world!
I'm Tina, 29, kiwi, married, no kids, owner of an over sized cat, moto gp fan, geek, housewife but longing for new job, sick of waiting to hear if we are moving or not...and I tend to rant a bit hehe my bad.
I will use all sorts of names in this, due to the line of work my Man Thing (Husband) is in we keep some things quiet. Regulations state we have to :P
I got my wedding dress back the other day. It feels like so long ago but it's only just coming up 6 months.
Once I work out how to add pics to this, I'll put some up of the day :)
I felt so beautiful, happy and lucky. Besides the actual getting married part, I had some of the most important people in my life in the church that day. My Mum. Mr MacD - closest thing I really had to a grandparent and his wife Julie. Jacko and KP - who's engagement party we are attending tomorrow night. My other Mum and Dad - They still rock my world and I'm sad they are moving away soon. My bro in law Cookie - who walked me down the isle and one of the people who I don't tell often enough that he's such a support - Guy - he was one of the few people who knows ME. Who has seen me change and grow over the past 10 years and who loves me anyway. I held it together till I saw him as we were walking out of the church. I burst into tears. It meant so much to have him there.
Some of my family and friends couldn't make it which kinda sucked but I know they have their reasons and sent their love all the same.
My sister (Helen) called me on the morning of our wedding while I was at the hairdressers. I was shocked to hear from anyone at that time of the day but it was just what I needed to calm me down. The hairdresser was running late and I was starting to panic. I don't know if I've thanked her for that call come to think of it. It really was just what I needed from her at that moment and I wont ever forget it. <3
Added to the list of people at our wedding was our photog, Amanda Jasmine. The lady is a machine!!! And soooo so awesome. Not only did she take the most stunning photos, she made me feel so great. We saw her on our way back north after the honeymoon (a whooole other post) so she could give us the prints, disk and special DVD MT and her has arranged. She is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I wish we could catch up more often.
Right, this is healping get the cleaning and sorting done!
